MFBP Chores: Get It Done · Last updated: October 9, 2026
MFBP Chores helps a household keep track of chores, who does them, and any rewards for kids. This policy explains what happens to the information you put in the app.
The short version: we don't collect any of your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account.
What the app stores, and where
- Your household: chores and jobs, schedules, rooms, people's names, whether each person is a parent or a kid, rewards, notes added when logging a job or sending one back, and the history of who did what and when, including missed chores. This is kept on your iPhone and synced through your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We can't see it.
- Sharing: if you invite people to your household, Apple's iCloud sharing lets them see and change the household's data. Only people you invite can see it, and you can stop sharing at any time from the app.
- The parent passcode: if you set one, the app keeps only a scrambled (hashed) version of it, so the passcode itself isn't stored.
- Settings on this iPhone: who's using the iPhone, reminder times and similar preferences stay on that device.
- Widgets and notifications: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, daily reminders and notifications that a kid finished something are created on your iPhone from the data above, after iCloud brings it there. Nothing is sent to us to make them.
- Buying the app: Apple handles the purchase. We don't see your name, Apple ID or payment details.
Children
Parents can add their kids to a household and set up chores and rewards for them. Kids' names and chore history are stored the same way as everyone else's: on the family's devices and in the iCloud account of the person who created the household. We don't collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Deleting your data
Delete chores, rooms or people in the app, or delete the app. To remove the synced copy, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on your iPhone and delete the MFBP Chores data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
